    Capabilities

Four pillars that keep every trade funded and settled.

Institutional counterparties look for a bankable operating model. These four pillars describe how MENA United moves money and documents behind every cargo.

    International banking network

    Correspondent-grade banking reach.

MENA United maintains an international banking network spanning key trade-finance corridors in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Relationships are built with Tier-1 issuing and confirming banks, SWIFT correspondents and trade-finance specialists — without naming specific institutions — to preserve counterparty confidentiality and operational flexibility.

    • Issuing and confirming corridors in London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Dubai, Singapore, New York and Hong Kong
    • Multiple relationship banks for redundancy and competitive pricing
    • Counterparty confidentiality preserved in every public-facing disclosure
    Multi-currency settlements

Settle in the currency that matches the cargo.

Transactions are settled in the currency most natural to the underlying commodity flow — whether USD, EUR, GBP, AED or other trade currencies. Multi-currency nostro and vostro arrangements, FX hedging workflows and central-bank reporting are handled in-house and reconciled against each contract.

    • USD · EUR · GBP · AED and other major trade currencies
    • FX hedging integrated into trade structuring
    • Nostro / vostro reconciliation by contract and shipment
    Documentary trade expertise

Documentary trade from LC to B/L.

Our documentary desk drafts, reviews and presents trade instruments under UCP 600, ISBP 821, ISP98 and URDG 758. Every set of documents — bills of lading, certificates of origin, inspection certificates, commercial invoices and packing lists — is pre-checked against letter-of-credit terms before bank presentation to minimise discrepancies and delay.

    • UCP 600 · ISBP 821 · ISP98 · URDG 758 compliant drafting
    • Pre-check of B/L, invoice, certificate and policy documents
    • Discrepancy-rate targets and presentation-time SLAs
    Cross-border payment infrastructure

Cross-border payments that move with the cargo.

Payment infrastructure is aligned to the physical trade cycle: advance payment, CAD, D/P, D/A, open-account and LC-backed structures are released against verifiable milestones such as B/L date, inspection, arrival, discharge or warehouse release. Authenticated bank-to-bank messaging is used where required, in every case through the counterparty's own bank.

    • Advance · CAD · D/P · D/A · open-account and LC-backed structures
    • Milestone-triggered releases tied to B/L, inspection and discharge
    • Authenticated SWIFT messaging where the structure requires it

    Standards & Infrastructure

The rails, rules and currencies behind every settlement.

Our banking infrastructure is defined by standards and operational disciplines rather than named institutions, giving counterparties the assurance they need without exposing proprietary relationships.
