    Mission, Vision & Values

What we do, where we are going, and what we stand for.

These three statements shape every decision we make — from trade approvals and counterparty selection to hiring and capital allocation.

    Mission

Reliable supply of essential energy and industrial commodities.

MENA United Trading exists to move crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals, helium, industrial gases and related commodities from reliable supply sources to the buyers and markets that need them. We do this with discipline, transparent risk management and unwavering compliance standards.

    • Bridge verified producers, refiners and NOCs with credit-worthy offtakers
    • Maintain a risk-first, margin-disciplined trading culture
    • Deliver every transaction with documented governance and auditability
    Vision

A trusted, tier-one independent trading house by 2030.

We aim to build MENA United into a recognised independent trading house across MENA, Asia, Europe and Africa — known by institutional counterparties for reliability, strong compliance, and leadership in transition fuels and specialty molecules.

    • Scale responsibly across oil, gas, LNG, LPG, petrochemicals and helium
    • Be a preferred counterparty for banks, NOCs and industrials
    • Lead on carbon-accounting, responsible sourcing and supply-chain transparency
    Values

    Integrity, discipline, accountability, respect.

Our values define how we trade, how we treat counterparties and how we manage risk. Every employee and representative is expected to act with integrity, maintain commercial discipline, take accountability for decisions and respect the markets and communities we serve.

    • Integrity: no side-deals, no hidden commissions, full transparency
    • Discipline: risk-first decisions, documented approvals, independent challenge
    • Accountability: clear ownership of every trade, booking and client relationship

    Risk, Ethics & Structure

How governance is put into practice.

Mission and values are only meaningful if they are supported by concrete structures and controls. These three domains describe how MENA United operationalises governance.

    Risk management

Independent risk oversight and controlled risk appetite.

Risk management is not a support function — it is a first principle at MENA United. Credit, market, operational, compliance and country risks are identified, measured, approved and monitored through a structured framework with independent challenge.

    • Credit limits and country exposure reviewed by the Credit & Risk function
    • Deal approvals by risk class with segregation of duties
    • Real-time exposure monitoring, limit utilisation and breach reporting
    • Annual ICAAP-style review and stress testing as the firm scales
    Ethics

Zero tolerance for corruption, bribery and conflicts of interest.

MENA United operates an ethics programme aligned to the UK Bribery Act, US FCPA and UAE Penal Code. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed; gifts and hospitality are logged; and whistleblower reports are handled confidentially without retaliation.

    • Mandatory ethics, AML and sanctions training for all staff
    • Conflicts of interest register and annual certifications
    • Gifts, hospitality and third-party introductions logged and reviewed
    • Confidential reporting to compliance@mena-united.com
